We Believe:

That God loves each of us, not because of anything we have done, but because we are His creation, made in His image.  That means, God's love is available to you regardless of your history or reputation.  When God sees you, He doesn't see specific sins that make you unfit for His love, He sees whether you are lost and dead, or found and alive.  Because of God's love we accept all people without prejudice and offer His gift of life to everybody through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Doctrinal Statement:

1.  We believe in the existence and deity of God, that He has revealed Himself in the Holy Scriptures and in creation (Genesis1:1. psalms 19:1, Romans 1:19-20) and that He is revealed as a trinity in unity, consisting of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:26, Isaiah 6:8, Matthew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 13:14).

2.  We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ (John 1:1, Colossians 1:15-17, Hebrews 1:1-3, Philippians 2:6), His eternal existence (Isaiah 9:6, Micah 5:2, John 1:1-3, 8:56-58, 1 John 1:35, Philippians 2:6-8), and His sinless life (Luke 1:35, Hebrews 4:15, 1 Peter 2:22).  Further, we believe in His death (Matthew 27:45-56), burial (John 19:38-42), resurrection (Mark 16:1-8, Luke 24:1-20, Acts 1:10-11, 1 Corinthians 15:1-3), His ascension (Luke 24:50-54, Acts 1:9, Hebrews 1:3), and His imminent, visible and personal return (John 14:1-3, Acts 1:11, 1 Thessalonians 4:16).

3.  We believe in the deity of the Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:1-2, Matthew 28:19); that He regenerates the believer (John 3:3-8, Titus 3:5), that He is a comforter and guide, and that He sanctifies the believer, empowering the believer to obey the will of God (John 16:5-15, Romans 8:4-6, 1 Corinthians 12:13, 6:19).

4.  We believe that the Scriptures consist of the Old and New Testaments of the Holy Bible and that they are infallible, inerrant and our final authority in all matters of life, faith and practice (Deuteronomy 6:6-9, Psalms 119:9, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Peter 2:20-21).

5.  We believe that man was created in the image of God (Genesis 1:26-27, 2:7) but by both nature and choice is sinful, thus separated from God and deserving of eternal death (Genesis 3:1-8, Isaiah 59:2, Romans 3:23, 5:12, 6:23).

6.  We believe in both the sovereignty of God and the free will of man, and that neither is in opposition to the other.  In particular, that God calls the believer to salvation (John 15:19, Ephesians 1:11, 1 Peter 1:2), and that man is required to respond in obedience to God’s call (Romans 10:9 & 13, John 3:16, 11:25-26, Acts 16:32) and that the sovereignty of God does not violate the free will of man and that the free will of man does not violate the sovereignty of God.

7.  We believe that regeneration is a spiritual necessity and that it is a supernatural change wrought in the heart of every believer by the Holy Spirit (John 3:3-8, Titus 3:5).

8.  We believe that faith in Christ alone to be the only means of salvation and eternal life (John 14:6, Acts 4:12, Ephesians 2:8-9), that Jesus the Christ is the sinner’s substitute before God, that He offered Himself as a propitiatory sacrifice for the sins of the world (Isaiah 53:4-6, Romans 3:24-25, 4:25, 5:3, 2 Corinthians 5:21, Galatians 3:13, 1 John 2:2) and salvation is available to all who would believe in Christ (John 3:15, Romans 10:13).

9.  We believe in the ordinance of Baptism of believers by immersion (Matthew 3:13-17, Acts 8:36-38, Romans 6:3-4).

10.  We believe in the ordinance of the Lord’s Supper and that all regenerated believers are invited by Him to celebrate the Lord’s Supper together (Matthew 26:26-29, 1 Corinthians 11:23-32).

11.  We believe in the perfect equality of believers before God, and that Christ is the head of His church (Romans 12:4, 1 Corinthians 12:12, Galatians 3:28, Ephesians 5:23, Colossians 1:18).

12.  We believe in the resurrection of the dead, both the just and the unjust, the just to eternal everlasting life with the Lord Jesus Christ, and the unjust to everlasting punishment eternally separated from God (Daniel 12:2, John 11:25-26, 1 Corinthians 15:50-58, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, revelation 20:5, 21:1-4, 22:16).

13.  We believe that Jesus Christ is the judge of the living and the dead (Matthew 25:31-45, 1 Corinthians 3:13-15, Revelation 20:4-6, 11-15).

14.  We believe in the everlasting punishment of the wicked, and the everlasting happiness of the righteous in the future state (Revelation 22:14-15).
